Beginner Classes Will Resume!

Tyler received his heart Sept 25th (on my brothers birthday) He is now a "double heart recipient". As I think of the great blessing we have received, the donor family is always in my prayers.

Beginning Lampworking (glass bead making) will resume in January! Come alone or bring a friend! Or have a girls day/night in my studio at the Hot Shops Art Center in Omaha, NE!

I will probably start teaching beginning lampworking classes again in January!

Classes on hold

Classes are on hold until my son gets a new heart. Prayers appreciated! I have more room at the studio now, so I'm anxious to get back and get going w/ classes w/ my studio mates!

Beginning Lampworking Class

I've decided to teach!
This class will consist of 3hrs of demos and hands-on experience for making your lampwork glass beads that you have been seeing and admiring. The $125.00 cost of the class covers all the materials and equipment you will be using. Websites and stores will be made available where you can purchase supplies.
This beginning class is setup so everything is provided and you can leave w/ a basic knowledge of safety and skills in making lampwork beads.
I believe that once a teacher, always a teacher....you will have my knowledge and skills to tap into whenever you need help or answers.

Cirriculum
*Safety and setup
*Tools
*Basic Bead Shapes
*Decorating your beads
*Making and applying stringer and frit
*Finishing your beads (cleaning)

I started stringing beads in 2001 and started flameworking in 2003.

This class will be held at the Hot Shops Art Center at Crystal Forge Glassblowing Studio
